Boyle Celtic solidified their lead at
the top of the Best Western Sligo Southern Hotel SuperLeague with an emphatic 4-1
win away against Strand Celtic. Boyle’s goals came courtesy of the boots of Michael
Corrigan (two), Niall Brennan and Niall McCrann and ensures they keep their grip on top spot in the title race.
However, as highlighted before, reigning champions City Utd,
have somehow amassed six games in hand and would still pip Boyle Celtic to the
title by a point – that said, the six games have to be won, so it’s all to play
for yet.
