Leaders in Fine Form

Yeats United travelled to Celtic Park, Boyle last Saturday to take on the SuperLeague leaders and returned home on the wrong end of a 6-nil defeat as the league leaders turned on the style.

Niall Brennan, the SuperLeague's top scorer, notched a double (making it 20 league goals in the process) with strikes from Brian McCrann, Killian Conboy, Michael Corrigan and James Carty completing the scoring

Gerry Emmett's squad are in great form at the moment and are yet to be defeated in the league this season. As league leaders, they are in a great position to take their first SuperLeague title since 2001 - especially after Aughanagh's defeat at the weekend away to Ballisodare Utd. However, reigning champions City Utd are looming large and, inexplicably, have 6 games in hand - it's all to play for!!
