Boyle Celtic FC would like to congratulate Sligo Rovers FC and all connected with the club on their league title success.
The Bit o' Red secured the league title, their first since 1977, in a tense encounter at The Showgrounds and thoroughly deserve all the plaudits coming their way. Well done to Ian Barraclough and the lads.
We would like to think we played a part, albeit a tiny one, in this season's league success, after we entertained the Bit o' Red in January in a pre-season friendly at Celtic Park....or perhaps we are a lucky omen for them....we are very much open to challenging the League Champions in a similar fixture next season!!!
