Reserves battle to draw away from home

Boyle Celtic Reserves drew a thrilling match away to Cliffoney Celtic 3-3 last week which leaves them second from bottom of the Sligo Pallets Premier League (as at 30th September):-

Boyle Celtics winning run ended on friday night with an entertaining draw against newly promoted St Johns.
Celtic dominated the early exchanges but it was St Johns who took the lead after 20 minutes with a fine goal through Declan Brennan.
Trailing at half-time Boyle pressed for an equalizer and they got it from a deflected free kick by the excellent Brian Mccrann.

Help Boyle Celtic Fundraise

Please help Boyle Celtic fundraise by participating in our clothing collection – you will help the club raise much-needed funds and, as an added bonus, 10% will be donated to CanTeen Ireland, a support group for teenagers affected by cancer. 

We are collecting adults & children’s clothing, paired shoes, hats, belts, handbags and soft toys up to and including 30^th September.

As all clothes collected are intended for re-use, please note we cannot accept dirty, wet or end-of-life clothing, bedding or cushions.

Please leave items in bags at our Clubhouse where we will store them before they are shipped to developing countries in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.

Very Important Boyle Celtic meeting

A very important Boyle Celtic meeting will take place tomorrow night, Tuesday 4^th September, from 9pm in the Clubhouse. 

It is vital that all committee members and managers attend wherever possible – please let Richard (086 8323322) know if you can’t make it.

Condolences to the Lavin family

Everyone at Boyle Celtic FC offer deepest condolences to the Lavin family following the tragic and untimely passing of Eoin. He had played for the club at underage level and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
