Boyle Celtic one game away from title glory
The senior team defeated
near-neighbours Aughanagh Celtic 4-1, the goals coming from Niall Brennan and
Brian McCrann with a brace each, on Saturday evening and sit proudly atop the
BestWestern Sligo Southern Hotel SuperLeague with just one match remaining.
That match, however, is
against reigning champions City Utd who now have seven games-in-hand to play
before the title decider and should City win all of those games, they will be
one point ahead of Boyle – watch this space for details of that decider….
Congrats Boyle Celtic U12s
Many congratulations to the Boyle Celtic U12s who were crowned Sligo/Leitrim Boys U12 League Division One champions on Saturday following a 3-1 victory over Calry Bohs. This is the first silverware for this young group, let's hope the first of many....well done to the youngsters, Eamon Glennon, Peter Burke and all the others who helped out.

Boyle Celtic U12s in League Final action
We wish the very best of luck to the Boyle Celtic U12s who play in the Sligo/Leitrim League Division One final this Saturday, 20th April, taking on Calry Bohs at 11am with the match taking place in Strandhill.
Best wishes to Eamon, Peter and their young squad...
Title Race goes down to the wire
The BestWestern Sligo Southern Hotel SuperLeague title race is going right to the wire following Boyle Celtic's tense 1nil victory away to Calry Bohs on Sunday morning.
A Brian McCrann penalty won the game for Boyle and leaves them sitting pretty at the top of the table with just two games left this season. However, nearest rivals City Utd, the only team who can stop the Boyle title charge, have seven games in hand so Boyle need to keep their foot on the pedal.
Next up is a local derby against Aughanagh Celtic who are currently in second place in the league - a tough match but Boyle are at home this Saturday evening (20th Apr), kick off 7.45pm, and your support could be vital as they seek the victory to maintain the pressure on City....see you there!
