U11s back in training Sat 1st Sept

Our U11s are back in training for the new season on Saturday 1st September with the session commencing at 10am.

Please note that players need to register for the season - €50 per player or €75 for a family of 2 or more. First time players will also need to supply a copy of their birth certificate.

New Senior League season kicks off

The new league for our senior teams gets under way this weekend and our new managers will get their first taste of league action.

The first team, under the tutelage of Gerry Emmett, take on newly-promoted Cartron Utd at home on Saturday 18th August, the match getting under way at 7.30pm.

The Reserves, with Bobby Duffy taking the helm, travel to Dromore Villa on Sunday 19th August, kicking off at 11am.

The Club would like to wish our two new managers and their teams the very best for the forthcoming season.

New Youth season start date announced

The Sligo Leitrim Youth season will kick off on Saturday 1st September and fixtures, still to be confirmed, will be for U13s / U15s / U17s and U19s.

We have entered teams at U13 / U15 and U19 so lads, get working on your fitness now......

Boyle Celtic AGM

The Boyle Celtic AGM will be held this Friday, 17^th August, at 8pm in the Clubhouse – you are all welcome to attend. 

Presentations to our players of the 2011/12 Season will take place immediately after the AGM has concluded – could last season’s players of the season please return their shields, engraved, to Richard Kennedy by Friday lunchtime.

Youth Registration Night

A further Boyle Celtic Youth Registration Night will take place tomorrow, Wednesday 15^th August, from 7.30pm to 8.30pm in the Clubhouse. All players born from 1994 through to 2003 will be registered according to the year of their birth and from there we can work out at what ages we will enter teams for the new league season – at this stage it is likely to be similar to last season, U11 / U12 / U13 / U14 / U16 & U19. Registration is €50 per player, €75 for a family of 2 or more. New players are very welcome and are asked to bring a photocopy of their birth certificate for submission to the league.

General Meeting - Youths and Fundraising

There will be a general meeting in the Clubhouse next Wednesday, 8th August, from 8.30pm where main topics will be the forthcoming youth season (confirming Boyle Celtic's entries) and fundraising ideas.

All our under-age management teams are asked to attend and anyone who is willing to get involved with fundraising initiatives - both existing and new.

AGM & Player of the Season Presentations

Committee Meeting

FAI / E-Flow Summer Soccer School

Boyle Celtic FAI / E-Flow 2012 Summer Soccer School, open to all boys and girls aged 6 to 14, will take place during the week 6^th – 10^th August and places can still be booked on-line at www.fai.ie or by calling 1890 653 653. 

Perhaps we will unearth the next Richard Dunne, Damien Duff or Robbie Keane…
